Canvas Photo Gifts

If you want to give someone a gift that they will cherish then you will need to look for something that has some very deep meaning to them and more importantly something that can highlight your connection and meaning to them. A lot of gifts that are given are consumer electronics or other gadgets that while much appreciated do not bring with them a personal connection. This is acceptable in many cases and indeed people really do appreciate such gifts. But every now and then if someone is very special to you then you will want to give him or her a sentimental gift that they can use to remember you and remember your great experiences together. These moments and these experiences are most often captured in the form of a photo and with modern cameras and technology you can capture extremely high quality photos and make very personalized edits using software packages. Giving a photo in digital format though while thoughtful doesn’t necessarily make much of a gift. As such you can bring your files to a local photo shop and have a canvas photo picture printed out. Such canvas photo prints can be framed in your choice of material and can make a beautiful gift just as valued as any other piece of art but even more so as you can capture shared experience.

Photo Gifts are the gift that keeps on Giving

Sometimes buying a cliche gift can send the wrong message. There are times when it wouldn’t be considered inappropriate to give a gift which looks cheap or impersonal. Now you can be sure that this gift looks like you took time and effort into planning and buying your gift. Personalized photo canvas print bags and canvas photos are a great way to tell someone you care. Never again will you have an excuse for not being able to think of a great photo gift. Photos on canvas or photo gifts in general are a great way to tell people you love them.
I know my mother would love a picture of my mug on a canvas or coffee cup. She would be excited everyday she saw her gift because it would make her think of me and how much she appreciates and loves me. Let’s face it, sometimes gift giving gets impersonal, but not anymore. Don’t let your inability to go shopping effect your gift buying anymore! Buy them a puzzle, photo plate, coaster, or a hand bag. Any of these will surely fulfill your gift giving obligations, and better yet the receiving party’s happiness. Everyone loves a great gift, I think this is amazing!

Vada Berting and 100 Years of Life
Vada Berting, a woman who just celebrated her 100th birthday, has lived an amazing life, spanning from the before pictures with sound all the way to the present era of the Internet. She has endured the trials of the Great Depression, swooned over the music of Elvis, and seen 13 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren sprout from her 4 children. Berting also is an avid writer and drawer, sending out numerous cards to friends and family and reading to her great-grandchildren with much care and love. While she has lived 100 years, Berting shows little signs of slowing down. She has traveled to the Bahamas, Las Vegas, and plans a future trip to California as well. The mayor of Swansboro declared February 20, 2009 as “Vada Berting Day,” capping off an amazing day of celebration and joy. Her highlight of the night was an Elvis impersonator and the love and comfort of having her family nearby to enjoy the celebrations with her. In giving advice to the youth of the nation, Berting advised them to study hard and keep up to date with current events, as this will keep the mind sharp and witty. Berting is gracious for all her fame and is grateful for the opportunity she has been given to live her life amongst great friends and family.

Brenda, who is also a photo journalist, met Nguyet on a visit to Vietnam and took lessons in Vietnamese Language from her. Their friendship grew on account of a common love for photography, travel and poetry. They explored the beauty of Vietnamese countryside and compiled some delightful photographs which showcase the diversity of contemporary Vietnamese culture and heritage. Some of the photograph would look delightful on canvas prints. The two have worked together since 2003 to develop close cultural relations between Vietnam and the Republic of Korea (RoK) and the United States of America.

Along with each photograph, you will also find a customary proverb of Vietnamese origin adding a new meaning to each photograph. The authors hope that the book will help in establishment of closer cultural ties between RoK and Vietnam. They feel that despite a busy modern day schedule, people do take time out for enjoyment. This is what they are trying to showcase in this book.
